Energy & Sustainability Forum – Decarbonising the Downstream Industry – 21-23 March 2022

The Energy & Sustainability Forum 2022, which will take place from 21-23 March in Berlin, will explore topics such decarbonisation strategies of the downstream industry, the role of hydrogen as an enabler of an integrated energy transition, and the potential of carbon capture and utilisation (CCUS) technologies. In four specialist sessions, experts and industry leaders will share the latest findings of the transition to a climate-neutral energy system. The conference is organized by Euro Petroleum Consultants) and co-hosted by Wirtschaftsverband Fuels und Energie e.V. (en2x). The Global Alliance Powerfuels is an official partner of the event.

At the Energy & Sustainability Forum 2022, senior industry experts from companies such as Alfa Laval, BASF, Neste, and ExxonMobil as well as representatives of the European Commission will present innovative developments around defossilising the downstream industry, and in particular the switch to climate-friendly energy carriers, in four sessions over two days. The program of the event also includes a keynote presentation from Christian Küchen, Director General of en2x, several panel discussions, and Q&A and networking sessions. The Global Alliance Powerfuels is an official partner of the event.
