The World Hydrogen Congress was established in 2018 as a senior executive networking confer-ence for the clean hydrogen industry. It is organised by the World Hydrogen Leaders. The mission of the World Hydrogen Congress is to accelerate the global commercialisation of clean hydrogen and to help connect the industry by providing an annual diary date for high quality content and high intensity networking.
The Global Alliance Powerfuels is partnering with World Hydrogen Leaders for the 3rd annual World Hydrogen Congress 2022, which will take place from 11-13 October 2022, at the World Trade Centre, Rotterdam. It will bring together over 2,000 senior level decision makers from across the global hydrogen value chain to unite, learn and build solutions to achieve 5 key objectives:
• Reduce the levelised cost of clean hydrogen
• Disseminate investment grade hydrogen policy
• Help the rapid scale up and industrialisation of the clean hydrogen industry
• Bring new offtakers into the use of clean hydrogen
• Spread hydrogen project best practice, knowledge and seed vital innovation
The Global Alliance Powerfuels is an official partner of the event and will co-host a workshop on the tradability of powerfuels as part of the official programme of the congress on October 11. In the workshop, Friederike Altgelt, Project Lead of the Global Alliance Powerfuels, and Matteo Micheli, Senior Expert at the German Energy Agency (dena), will present the Alliance’s upcoming publication on models for tracing the chain of custody of renewable hydrogen and other powerfuels. The workshop will also include a discussion with high-level industry experts, and a Q&A session.
