The World Hydrogen Projects Conference 2022 offered a strategic exploration into the planning and enablement of proposed and current powerfuels projects, and brought together stakeholders from across the entire hydrogen ecosystem in order to facilitate the collaboration and innovation needed to kickstart the hydrogen economy.
The two-day event offered the opportunity to deep dive into industry case studies, as well as to explore questions such as what technologies are being used and why, where projects are being developed, how companies are planning to scale up their projects, and paths to securing investment and offtake revenue streams.
The conference was organised by World Hydrogen Leaders. The Global Alliance Powerfuels was an official partner of the event. Kilian Crone, Team Lead, International Hydrogen Markets at the German Energy Agency (dena), spoke in the session on investment trends at the conference on May 11, discussing strategies for achieving commercial viability as well as the role of public funding for powerfuels projects.
