The ECH2A was introduced as part of the New Industrial Strategy for Europe earlier this year, the official launch taking place on 8 July 2020 in the context of the presentation of the European hydrogen strategy. The declared aim of the ECH2A is to support the ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2030, bringing together stakeholders from public sector, industry, research and civil society. The Global Alliance Powerfuels, together with its corporate members, has been working towards establishing a powerfuels market since 2018 and is looking forward to contributing to the goals of the ECH2A.
