The World Hydrogen Projects Conference 2022 offered a strategic exploration into the planning and enablement of proposed and current powerfuels projects, as well as bringing together stakeholders from across the entire hydrogen ecosystem in order to facilitate the collaboration and innovation needed to kickstart the hydrogen economy.
The 3-day programme dove deep into the integration, supply chain and efficiency challenges with electrolyser technology that holds huge promise for the future production of hydrogen. It brought the entire green hydrogen value chain together including hydrogen producers, utilities, component manufacturers, financiers, electrolyser original equipment manufacturers, transmission system operators and distribution systems operators and many more to discuss and debate the biggest questions and solutions the industry had.
The conference was organised by World Hydrogen Leaders. The Global Alliance Powerfuels was an official partner of the event and Friederike Altgelt, Team Lead, Hydrogen Markets and Regulation at the German Energy Agency (dena), participated in a panel concerned with stimulating the demand of green hydrogen to ensure bankability and increase off-take.
