Study Launch: Powerfuels in a Renewable Energy World

Powerfuels, i.e. green hydrogen and derived products such as e-Kerosene, e-Diesel and e-Ammonia, will play a fundamental role in decarbonizing the global energy system of the future.

Powerfuels, i.e. green hydrogen and derived products such as e-Kerosene, e-Diesel and e-Ammonia, will play a fundamental role in decarbonizing the global energy system of the future.

The Global Alliance Powerfuels – an initiative coordinated by the German Energy Agency – proudly presents you the first global modeling study including hydrogen and derived products toward a fully renewable global energy system in 2050. Presenting analyses for 2030, 2040, and 2050, the study addresses questions such as:

•    Which share of the global final energy consumption will powerfuels comprise?

•    What are likely trading volumes of powerfuels in a cost-optimized global market?

•    How are the levelised costs of powerfuels affected by global trade?

•    Which investment volumes for powerfuels emerge over time?

In this free digital event, the lead authors of the study will present its main results and participants will have the exclusive opportunity to discuss its contents in a dedicated Q&A session.

All registered participants will receive a download link to the study after the event. Kindly note that capacity is limited, we therefore encourage you to register now.
